bowden residence,

vancouver, bc
The make-over done to this lovely Shaughnessy home was so thorough in its appeal that one visiting friend remarked that she wasn't sure if it was the right house. The front entry starts at the street with well-placed stone crafted pillars. A warm toned cobblestone paver walkway brings the visitor past beautiful plantings to a new tiled front staircase anchored in repeated pillars. The old back deck was replaced with a large, better designed Trex deck. The new water feature provides a relaxing touch to both the deck user and to the nearby new Pennsylvania Bluestone patio. Undulating dry stack basalt stone walls give a heritage theme to the property.
